Larry D. Rahl

Larry D. Rahl, age 74 of Auburn, left us on December 31st, 2021 to join his loving wife, Janet.& Larry was born on December 11, 1947 to the late Lloyd and Christine (Keebauch) Rahl. He was the third of four children. Larry grew up in Mt. Pleasant where he excelledin several sports including football, basketball, and track earning a basketball scholarship at Ferris State University. During this period, Scary Larry met the love of his life, Janet Hargett. They were married happily for 50 years and had three children; Laura, Jeff, and Lindsey (Naughton); all of whom survive him. They were also blessed with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; Larry is also survived by his younger sister Denise.

Larry worked for Dow Chemical and Ravago/ Entec in sales before retiring to a life of golf and travel with his wife. He was involved with sports throughout his life where he made numerous lasting friendships. Larry loved evenings that included conversation with friends and playing cards. His love of competition and company will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank the staff at MyMichigan Health for their efforts and care of our father over the past few months.

A celebration of Larry's life will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 12, 2022 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
