Kris A. Sian

Kris A. Sian, age 45 of Midland, died Monday May 12, 2014 at his residence. The son of Thomas E. and Delphine A. (Riegle) Sian was born in Midland on July 4, 1968 where he was raised and educated graduating from Bullock Creek High School in 1987. For 30 years Kris did custodial work for Bullock Creek Schools, he also owned and operated Kris's Recycling & Snow Plowing. He loved to go up north camping & spending time in the woods but most of all loved his family-especially the grandkids.

Surviving is his wife of 13 years the former Kim E. Barnhart of whom he married on May 5, 2001 in Midland; son, Michael Sian of Midland; daughters, Tracy (Ryan) Johnson of Houston, Texas, Tina (Marcus) Brazier of Midland, Krista Speckman of Saginaw; 6 grandchildren; parents, Thomas (Diane) Sian of Midland; mother, Delphine (Raymond) Herman of Midland; brother, Daniel Sian; sisters, Susan (Thomas) Hitchingham of Shepherd, Jennifer Christ of Midland, Helen (Ed) Danowski of Merrill, Sue (Corey) Maltdy of Sanford. Kris was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Sian.

Funeral services for Kris will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday May 16, 2014 at Midland Missionary Church. Rev. Jim Barnhart will officiate. Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland on Thursday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
