Kent M. Hinson

Kent M. Hinson, age 58 of Midland, died Monday, March 26, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

The son of John and Mary (Martin) Hinson was born November 11, 1953 in Midland where he was raised and educated.
Kent married the former Cheryl DeLong in January of 1976. They resided in Houston, Texas for eleven years and returned to Midland in 1986. Kent worked from home and helped to raise their family. He enjoyed hunting and ice fishing.

In addition to his wife, Cheryl and his parents, John and Mary Hinson, Kent is survived by his sons, Benjamin (Erika) Hinson, Philip Hinson, Quinn Hinson, Matt Hinson and daughter, Abby Lynn Hinson all of Midland; grandson, Connor Hinson; brothers, James Hinson of Houston, Texas, David Hinson of Midland; and sister, Laura (William) Morgan of Houston, Texas.

Private graveside services will be held in Poseyville Cemetery.
