Kenneth L. Frederick

Kenneth L. Frederick, age 52 of Midland, passed away Sunday August 22, 2021 at his residence. The son of the late Jack D. and Opal F. (Fletcher) Frederick was born in Midland on July 28, 1969. Kenneth who worked as a DJ, was well known as Kenny G throughout the area. He enjoyed morel mushroom picking, hunting, gold prospecting, NASCAR, Detroit Lions and always treating a fun experience for countless wedding, birthdays and even graduation parties. Kenneth had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a very talented man with a great singing voice, a natural adept showman, having performed at Club 20, the Overpass aka Riders, Northern, among many others places. Kenneth was an aerial lineman for 5 years and worked at 6-mile store as a gas attendant. Overall, he will be truly missed by his children, family & friends.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Tishana (Robert) Collier, Matthew Frederick, Kendra (companion, Jonathan Yerman) Frederick; previous wife, Tammy (Shane) Sian; grandchildren, Octavia Raine, Rebecca & Anna; siblings, Michael (Dawn) Frederick, Debra Frederick, Mark Frederick, Cary Frederick; nieces and nephews, Shawnie Marzluft, Nick Frederick, Mark Frederick, Mikie Frederick, Rachel Hart, Jennifer Keane; companion, Marcia Colvin; many aunts, uncles and cousins who will keep the memory of him always in their hearts.

Per the wishes of Kenneth, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place September 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lee Township Hall.
