Kenneth Colvin

Kenneth Colvin, age 74 of Midland died at his residence on Friday, July 23, 2010. The son of the late Harold and Ethel (Whitney) Colvin was born on August 9, 1935 in Highland Park, MI and was raised and educated in Detroit. On August 19, 1961 he married the former Ildanor Leggo. Ken moved to Midland in 1973 and open Ken's Crafts in 1974 on Main Street and later moving to the Circle. Ken was active with the Circle Businesses. Ken was an active member of The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Ken is survived by his wife Ildanor and his two sons: Kevin (Linda) Colvin of Midland and Christopher M. Colvin of Midland. Also survived by five grandchildren; Kristine
(Joshua) Church, Rachel, Bryce, Tucker, and Kalie Colvin and his two sisters: Shirley Alvey of Big Rapids and Marilyn Palmer of Midland

As per the wishes of Ken, cremation has been provided by the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 31, 2010 from the Bullock Creek High School Auditorium with Mr. Robert Pomranky presiding. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Watch Tower c/o Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 2990 E. Wheeler Rd, Midland, MI 48642.
