Kelvin W. Hauri

Kelvin W. Hauri, age 51 of Sanford died at his residence on Sunday October 28, 2012. Kelvin was born on March 2, 1961 in Midland and graduated from Western High School. On January 28, 2004 he married the former Melodie Thomas in Midland. Kelvin was employed by Apple Mountain in Freeland as a mechanic. He was a proud Harley Davidson Motorcycle owner and enjoyed road trips with his wife. He was active with many motorcycle groups and was proud to be part of the ABATE organization. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter.

Kelvin is survived by his wife, Melodie Hauri; step father, Pete Labo; daughter, Charity L. Scyliagyi; and two grandchildren, Logan Chandler Scyliagyi and Kendrix Jade Scyliagyi. He is also survived by the father of his siblings, Robert Hauri; brothers, Russell (Renee) Hauri, Oklahoma City, OK, Randy (Cindy) Hauri of Sanford; sisters, Robin (William) Carmen of Midland, Trisha Grew of Midland, Trena (Dennis) Stuhr of Bentley and Jamie McLeod of Midland.

Kelvin was predeceased by his mother, Waneta (Stanchfield) Hauri-Labo.

Funeral and committal services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday October 31, 2012 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sanford Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and from 10:00am Wednesday until time of service.
