Kay Ellen Klein-Smith

Kay Ellen Klein-Smith, age 38 of Bay City formerly of Midland died at the Toni & Trish House on Sunday, December 7, 2014. The daughter of Roger Dale and Joyce (Willyard) Kroening was born in Bay City on February 23, 1976. Kay was raised and educated in Sanford and graduated from Delta College with her degree in business. She started her career with Garber Auto Group in 2011 and was currently an Executive Manager. Kay was very active with and supported the Midland Shelter House for their support at her time of need. She was an avid roller skater and enjoyed family time roller skating and was active with community soft ball.

Kay is survived by her parents Roger and Joyce Kroening and her children Logan Smith, Mackenzey Smith, Scott "Jr." Klein; daughters Madeline Smith and Lyndzie Smith all of Midland; grandson Kellen Smith, brother Aaron Hall of Midland; sisters Bridget Pool, Julie (Brad) Bodrie, Sharon (Bob) Maxwell and the father of her children Robin Smith. She was predeceased by her son Landon Smith and her brother Robert Kroening.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, December 11, 2014 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Craig Lang officiating. Interment will be in Edenville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 on Wednesday December 10, 2014 and from 10:00 am until time of service on Thursday.
