Katherine E. Scott

Katherine E. Scott, age 92 of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday morning August 20, 2017 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland. The daughter of the late Isaac and Eliza (Ordiway) Wellman was born in Midland County on October 27, 1924. She was a member of Floyd Church of God, enjoyed reading, doing puzzle books, going for walks and spending time with family and friends. On February 13, 1942 Katherine married Claude H. Scott. He died on March 29, 2003.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis (Nettie) Scott of Coleman, Randy (Vicki) Scott of Midland; daughters, Bonnie (Darryl) Ericson of Galesburg, Illinois, Wanda (Richard) Schulman Oakridge, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by her son and daughter in law, Rick (Mary) Scott; brothers, Forrest and LeRoy Wellman; sisters, Ethel Shipley, Nova Shumen, Arlene Krampe.
