It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of June Louise Blake, who was born on May 16, 1929. June lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by kindness, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

June was one of 10 children born in Ingersoll, Midland and was raised on a family farm. June married the love of her life, Richard Blake, on September 10th, 1949. They celebrated 67 beautiful years together in 2017. They had two beautiful daughters, Diana Lee and Kathryn Sue. June was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her daughter Diana, and her brothers and sisters; Ruth, Nellie, Thelma, George, Lucille, Henry, Harold, Wilma.

June was known for her warm and generous spirit. She touched the lives of many with her compassion and selflessness, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word. Her home was a place of welcome for friends and strangers alike, filled with laughter, good food, and the love that she so freely gave.

Throughout her life, June found joy in the simple things. June was a very talented and creative woman. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, whose guidance and support shaped the lives of those lucky enough to know her.

She leaves behind a loving family and is survived by her sister, Carolyn Penney, her daughter, Kathy Schultz, her Grandsons Scott (Carla) Soper, Marty (Donna) Ordiway, and Richard (Kathy) Ordiway, and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

June's legacy lives on in the values she instilled in her family, her acts of kindness toward others, and the memories she created with all who knew her. June Louise Blake's life was a testament to love, kindness, and enduring strength. She will be missed dearly, but her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Midland County or to simply honor June's name through acts of kindness and love.
