Julie M. Sapyak

Julie M. Sapyak, age 49 of Midland, died Sunday July 5, 2009 at the home of her sister. The daughter of the late Steve J. and Marie (Boyle) Sapyak was born in Midland on March 26, 1960 where she was raised and educated graduating from H.H. Dow High School in 1978. Julie had been employed at Kroger's, Packaging Resource International and with Midland Walmart. She enjoyed working with stain glass, playing softball, volleyball and gardening. Julie was a Red Wings Fan and enjoyed watching many different sporting events.

Surviving are her brothers and sisters, Suzanne (Dave) Bass of Hope, Michael (Carol) Sapyak of Sanford, Stephanie (David) Bober of Woodstock, Georgia, Steven Sapyak of Midland, Stacie (Frank) Schossau of Sanford; nephews, Brian Sapyak, Matthew Schossau; niece, Ashley Bober; beloved dog, Harley; cat Chloe; special friends, Ruth Morey and Lori Greene.

A celebration of Julie's life will take place 7:30 pm Thursday July 9, 2009 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Fr. James Hast OFM Cap of St. Agnes Catholic Church will officiate. Family and Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. Memorial may be offered to MidMichigan Home Care (Hospice). The family wishes to thank Dr. Hurtubise, nurses, Pam and Marie and the staff at MidMichigan Home Care for the care that was given to Julie.
