Julene B. Terrill

March 7, 1945 — February 2, 2020

Julene B. Terrill, age 74 of Midland, passed away Sunday February 2, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. The daughter of the late Edward S. and Virginia L. (Cameron) Smith was born in Midland on March 7, 1945 and was a graduate of Midland High School. After High School, Julene worked for Consumers Power, Dow Chemical and Dow Corning. After raising her children she then went to work for the Bullock Creek School District, retiring in 2001 after 17 years of service. She enjoyed making quilts, cooking, doing crafts, was an avid stock car race fan, but most of all she enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids in their many activities.


Surviving is her husband of 56 years, James "Jim" Terrill of whom she married in Midland on November 2, 1963; son, Scott (Sherry) Terrill; daughter, Debbie Terrill; grandchildren, Andrew (Kristin) Terrill, Jessica (Brett) Noack, Ross Wiltse; great grandson, Kyron James Terrill; brother, David (Peggy) Smith; sister, Kathleen Brabbs; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Julene was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca.


Funeral services for Julene will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday February 7, 2020 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael T. Sawicki and Mr. Steven Hilliker will officiate. Interment will be in Midland City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Midland and Gladwin.
