Judy Elaine Kiser (Penney)

On August 9, 2026, heaven gained a special kind of angel. Judy Elaine Kiser (Penney) passed away peacefully at HealthSource of Saginaw with her sister, Deb, at her side. She was 78 years young. Known by the nickname “Judy Blue”, the staff at HealthSource were amazing and she will be missed by her caregivers there.

Judy was born on September 15, 1947 in Midland where she was raised and educated. She built a career as a Teller with Chemical Bank in Midland that spanned many years. In her spare time, she was a crafter, mostly known for her kitchen towels and cross-stitched blankets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Clara (Moe) Penney; her husband, Russell Kiser; and her youngest sister, Carla Wilson. She is survived by her children, Scott Kiser and Renae Moore; grandchildren, Courtney Moore, Gracey Moore, and Keygan Kiser; great grandchildren, Emilia and Archer Moore; siblings, Sharon Roberson, Debra Patten (Paul Fields), Ray (Carol) Penney, and Doug (Cathy) Penney; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A service to honor Judy’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Wilson Miller Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Private burial will be in Midland Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be offered to the Toni and Trish House or to the wishes of the family.
