On May 14, 2026, Judith Ann Roberson passed away peacefully at Primrose Retirement Community, where she was surrounded by the love of her family and caregivers. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 16, 1939 to the late Nicholas W. and Ruth A. (Richardson) Howell.

Judy cherished her family and friends deeply, forming connections wherever she went. During her final three weeks at Primrose Retirement Community, she was surrounded by the compassionate nurses and staff who cared for her with great kindness.

Her most cherished moments were spent with her beloved husband of 65 years, her two daughters, and her grandchildren, whether they were playing cards, a trip to the casino or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Judy, along with her husband and family, embarked on numerous camping adventures up north, creating lasting friendships along the way. Her memories will live on with stories around the campfire for years.

A woman of faith, Judy had been a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church since childhood. Her church community held a special place in her heart, and she rarely missed a Sunday, relishing the breakfast and laughter shared with her fellow congregants afterward.

Judy’s memory will be cherished by her husband, Robert B. Roberson; daughters, Julie (Robert) O’Brien and Jodi Zwarych; grandchildren, Alec (Cassy) Mizer, Blaine Mizer, Kelly O’Brien, Kyle Zwarych, Lauryn (Sasa) Kukic; and great grandchild, Ayden Mizer. Judy is also survived by her two brothers, James (Sharon) Howell and Jerald (Cynthia) Howell; many nieces and nephews; and the many wonderful friends she made over the years.

A service to honor Judy’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00 am. Her family will be present at the church to greet visitors from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Judy’s memory may be offered to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund. The Roberson family is being cared for by Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
