Joyce Marie Krick

Joyce Marie Krick, 90, of Midland passed away Friday morning, September 9, 2016. She was born June 3, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Otto E. And Ruth Mulvany of Shepherd Mi. She was a graduate of Shepherd High School.

Joyce married the love of her life, Phil Krick on February 6, 1943. They enjoyed 73 years together. He survives her. Joyce was a chair-side assistant for many years for Dr. Donald Carlsen DDS and later as a receptionist for Dr. Richard Phillips DDS and Dr. Kay Gable DDS. Since retiring she enjoyed wintering in New Smyrna Beach Fl. with Phil. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Midland Michigan.

Besides Phil she will be greatly missed by her children, Jim (Karen) of Homosasa Springs Fl., John (Karen) of Midland and son-in-law David Southworth of Farwell. She was preceded in death by her daughter Fran (Krick - Gust) Southworth. She had 8 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Jean Watters of Shepherd, brother-in-law Nelson (Gloria) Krick of Logansville, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Joyce will be Monday, September 12, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Wilson-MILLER Funeral Home, Midland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, Pam Buchholz officiating. There will be visitation at the church on hour before the service.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Midland or World Orphans, P.O. Box 1840, Castle Rock CO, 80104
