Joan Boyle

Joan Boyle, age 80 of Sanford, died Tuesday November 12, 2013 at her residence. The daughter of the late Archie and Agnes (Stock) Duso was born in Bay City on January 12, 1933. Joan was a 1951 graduate of nursing school and had been employed with Midland Hospital until her retirement in 1993. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Joan was a member of the Sanford American Legion Auxiliary. On September 11, 1954 in Bay City Joan married Glenn F. Boyle and after 46 years of marriage he died in 2000.

Surviving are her sons, Raymond Boyle of Texas, Randall Boyle of Indiana, Richard (Ravon) Boyle of Midland, Ronald Boyle of Mt. Pleasant, Ryan Boyle of Midland; grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Adam, Madison, Bailey, Evan, Cassandra, David and Jody; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Duso of Mio, Lawrence (Kathy) Duso of Ohio; sisters, Marilyn Block of Hudson, Marjorie Beechum of Bay City. In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.

Per the wishes of Joan cremation has taken place and there will be no other services. Memorials maybe offered to MidMichigan Home Care (Hospice). Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Personal messages of condolence may be offered to the family at www.wilson-miller.com
