Jo Ann Roberson

Jo Ann Roberson age 77 of Gladwin and formerly of Beaverton died Sunday June 26, 2011 at the Mid Michigan Hospital-Gladwin. The daughter of the late Clifford and Josephine (Clark) Cronkright was born on April 10, 1934 in Flushing. On June 9, 1952 she married James Junior Roberson in Gladwin and he predeceased her on November 17, 2010. Jo Ann was an avid and skilled quilter and made many lap quilts for the veterans hospitals. She enjoyed her garden over the years and canned much of her harvest for family and friends. She loved to spoil her grandchildren, but most of all she had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Roberson is survived by her sons: James Roberson of Bay City, Michael (Dawn) Roberson of Midland
Jeffrey (Susan) Roberson of Texas, Matthew (Terri) Roberson of St. Johns, Mark Roberson of Texas; daughters: Gloria (James) LaFever of Marion, Debra (Elton) Fisch of Gladwin, Linda (Chris) Muma of Gladwin, Becky (Bill) Matthews of Gladwin and Sylvia (Greg) Canterbury of Florida. She is also survived by her brother Robert Cronkright of Flushing, twenty five grandchildren and several beloved great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday June 30, 2011 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend David G. Mulder, Pastor of the Homer United Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 6 and on Thursday from noon until time of service. Memorials may be offered to donors choice.
