Jesse J. Watkins, Sr.

Jesse J. Watkins Sr. age 66 of Beaverton, Michigan went to be his Lord Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at Medilodge Nursing Home due to a fall. Jesse was born on June 12, 1952 in Midland, Michigan to his parents, the late John M. Watkins, Sr. and Emma N. Watkins. He resided at 3873 Birchwood Rd., Beaverton with his beloved wife Mary who passed away April 5, 2018. Jesse loved everyone he met. He liked to fish, hunt, play music and work on old tractors and motor vehicles. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need.

Jesse is survived by his son Jesse J. Watkins, II; daughter Bobby J. Watkins; grandchild Kelly L. Watkins; brothers John M. Watkins, Jr., Victor C. Watkins, Sr., Eddie A. Watkins and Shamrock E. Watkins, Sr.; sister Mary H. Watkins (Braley). In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son Paul A. Watkins and sister Elizabeth E. Watkins (Butters).

A Memorial service for Jesse will be held at his home, 3873 Birchwood Rd., Beaverton on Sunday, October 14th at 2:00.
