Jerry T. Moss

Jerry T. Moss age 72 of Sanford died at the MidMichigan Medical Center on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.

The son of the late Ralph and Bernadine (Boylen) was born on May 17, 1941 in Gladwin. On July 12, 1958 he married the former Linda Holycross in Covington, KY. Jerry worked for 4-D Builders as a truck driver for thirty five years, retiring on December 31, 2000. In his younger years he was an avid hunter and salmon fisherman. He enjoyed gardening and giving the fruits of his labors away. He was also an avid Tiger's and Lion's fan. Jerry's greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Linda Moss; daughters, Pricilla (Tom) Corey of Coleman and DeAnna (Mark) Gary of Beaverton; grandchildren, Tyler Moss, Melissa Edwards, Jared Young, Casey & Tiffany Young, Ashley Corey, Dylan & Morgan; great grandchildren, Hunter, Kyler, Sophia, Ellie, Gage and Alana. Jerry will also be missed by his sisters, Genna (Wayne) Hall, Sue Whitmer & Otis Whitehouse; and sisters-in-law Deloris & Bob McKellar and Judy Holycross. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Moss.

Funeral service for Mr. Moss will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 25, 2014 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Hamilton of Emmanuel Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the New Edenville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
