Jerry D. Mcroberts

Jerry D. McRoberts, age 68 of Sanford, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center. The son of the late Frank and Marge (Furst) McRoberts was born January 16, 1951 in Midland. Jerry worked for 42 years with Operating Engineers Local 324 and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Heaven gained an angel today. My loving husband of 47 years. A man who loved me, protected me, and cherished me. A father that helped shape who we are today. A man that we would call if we didn't know how to fix things, he would. A man that was very proud of his wife, two boys and grandchildren. You will always be the wind beneath our wings. We love you.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Penny Moe to whom he married April 15, 1972 in Midland; sons, Joseph McRoberts of Midland, Daniel (Melissa) McRoberts of Sanford; grandchildren, Paige, Jordan, Dylan, Chase, Jade; brothers in law, Rusty and Mick (Jerrilyn); sister, Kathy; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers Larry and Bobby; mother and father in law, Harold and Helen Moe; and brother in law, Tim.

Per Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
