Jerry F. Johnson

Jerry F. Johnson age 68 of Midland died at the Mid Michigan Medical Center on February 10, 2012. The son of the late Leon and Ila (Ordiway) Johnson was born in Midland on September 25, 1943 where he was raised and educated. On December 18, 1965 he married the former Neva Mackey in Midland and she predeceased him on August 28, 2008. Jerry worked as fork lift driver for Saginaw Power Train retiring in 2007 with 39 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local 668. He was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed the casinos. Jerry was very active with and enjoyed his young friends at the Saginaw Road McDonalds.

Jerry is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by special friends Sue & Jim Varnum, Peggy and Jean.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday February 14, 2012 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, with the Reverend David Brown officiating. Interment will be in Midland Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Ronald McDonald House.
