Celebration of Life
Jennifer Lynn Hintz, 55, of Midland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 11, 1970, Jennifer was the daughter of the late Kenneth Irish and Marcia Patterson. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse for 31 years, a profession she was deeply passionate about. She loved helping patients and coworkers/friends while working at Covenant Healthcare in NICU, Emergency Room, and Oncology. Jennifer was also a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She lived a life anchored in faith, trusting in the Lord to guide her journey.
On September 7, 2013, Jennifer married her husband, Steve Hintz. Together they built a beautiful family and shared many cherished memories. Jennifer found joy in baking, cooking, gardening, reading, crocheting, and creating blankets for her family and friends—expressions of her love and care that will be treasured forever. Her summers were enjoyed by filling her garden with flowers and winters were passed by baking cookies, cakes, and her amazing cheesecakes for coworkers and friends. Jen had a passion for cooking and baking, and it showed in every bite of her delicious food.
Jennifer is survived by her husband Steve; her children Mark (Beth) Eddy, Taylor (Mariah) Bono-Eddy, Emma Hintz, and Tyler Hintz; her grandchildren Troy and Cory Eddy; and her brother Scott (Vicki) Irish. Also survived by Fred Eddy, the father of her children. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jayson.
A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 4, 2026, at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service with a reception to follow in the Kyran J. Miller Room.
To honor Jennifer’s legacy of compassion and care, memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Neonatal ICU or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
