Jeffrie C. Cole

Jeffrie C. Cole, age 76 of Midland, died peacefully at his home on Friday July 15, 2022 after a short illness. The son of the late Carl W. and Virginia E. (Bigelow) Cole was born in Alma on July 3, 1946. Jeff was employed by The Dow Chemical Company for 33 years. He started in Saran Wrap, then worked as firefighter in Dow Security until retiring in 2001. Jeff bowled on bowling leagues for many years, enjoyed riding his Harley, going on his annual fishing trips. He has a true passion for doing yardwork, detailing cars, helping friends and families with their yards. Jeff also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, the former Judith Morford of whom he married on June 26, 1965; children, Lisa (Ken) Tester, Brent Cole, Stacie (Gregg Pringle) Cole; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; a step grandson; 1 step great granddaughter; sister, Pamela Duncan; sister-in-law, Barbara Morford; special friends and uncle, Terry Bigelow who was like a brother he never had; Bob Vicana. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his in laws, Leland and Beulah Morford; sister, Judith Lynn Cole; brothers in law, Jim Duncan, David Morford; special friends, Lyle Burch, Dick Eastman and Keith Syerson.

Family will receive guests at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Thursday July 21, 2022 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. There will be no formal services.
