Jeffrey Vena, age 56 of Midland, formerly of White Plains, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Midland on April 26, 2016. Born November 7, 1959 to the late Gladys and Cosmo Vena Sr. in White Plains, NY. His life was forever changed when he met and married Babette Carpenter on November 15, 1993 in Port Chester, NY. Together they relocated to Midland at which time he discovered his passion and love for animals of which he had many. "Chappy" cherished his days spent horseback riding and with his beloved dogs. He enjoyed playing on the Wednesday night pool league, tractor riding with his great nephew Noah and dinner nights out with special friends. Jeff loved spending much of his time outdoors caring for his horses, boating, fishing and being at the beach. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 22 ½ years Babette; brothers, Nick, Andy, Cosmo; sister, Barbara and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering time and celebration of Jeff life will take place Friday May 20, 2016 from 4 till 7:00 p.m. at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
