Jeannine M. Compton

Jeannine M. (Nettleton) Compton, age 80 of Hope, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at her home.

The daughter of the late Maurice V. and Marie T. (MacDonald) Nettleton was born September 7, 1931 in North Bradley. Jeannine married Robert D. Compton in Midland on October 18, 1947 and after 53 years of marriage, Robert predeceased her January 21, 2001.

Mrs. Compton is survived by her son, Robert and his life companion Rebecca Brenzie of Hope; daughters and their spouses, Kaye and Russ Spiker of Pickford, Jackie and Ivan Burlingame of Lake Jackson, Texas; and a total of 32 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, David Compton.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place with inurnment in New Hope Township Cemetery.
