Jean E. Emery age 76 of Sanford died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her daughter's home in Houston, TX. The daughter of the late Ted and Grace (Peak) Segerlund was born on January 15, 1940 in Midland where she was raised and educated. Jean was a homemaker and had worked at the Midland Hospital in housekeeping for several years. Jean also did in home hairdressing for many years and was a member of the Sanford United Methodist Church. She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed her pets Prince and Bear.
Jean is survived by her two daughters Sue (Brian) Moe of Houston, TX, Renee Pfenninger of Sanford and Deb Weese. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Ryan Moe, Tom Moe, Emily Moe and Blake Pfenninger.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jean's life at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June,22, 2016 at the Sanford United Methodist Church with Pastor Lisa Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Sanford Cemetery.
