Jean F. Dion

Jean F. Dion, 88 of Midland, passed away on August 23, 2016. She was born December 9, 1927, in Midland, Michigan, the daughter of the late Oliver and W. May (Cameron) Franklin. Jean graduated from Midland High School in 1945, attended Adrian College and was employed by The Dow Chemical Company. She married James J. Dion in Bay City on May 27, 1950 and after 66 years of marriage he died on June 24, 2016. Jean was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed by her family.

Jean is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lisa (James) Schmidt of Nokomis, Florida and Sanford, Michigan; son in law, L. Wayne Morrison of Sanford, Michigan. In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne D. Morrison.
