Jane E. (Timmons) Kuhn, age 98 of Midland, died Saturday morning August 13, 2016 at Medilodge of Midland. The daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Westbrook) Tousley was born on April 4, 1918 in Charlevoix County, Boyne Falls, Michigan where she was raised and educated. Jane moved to Midland in 1935 and then went to work at Robin Tree Apartments and Midland County Club until her retirement in 1984. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. In 1933 Jane married Orval Timmons, he died in 1941. She then married David E. Kuhn in 1958 and he died in 1970.
Surviving are her son, Lawrence "Larry" (Joanne) Timmons of Midland; daughter, Shirley Seward of Coleman; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sister, Alice Bisonet. In addition to her parents and husbands Jane was preceded in death by her son, Robert Timmons; brothers, Clifford, Robert, Andrew and Millard Tousley; sister, Evelyn Cooper.
Funeral and committal services for Jane will take place 2:00 p.m. Tuesday August 16, 2016 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Interment will be in Midland City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to Medilodge of Midland.
