Jane A. Schaefer

Jane A. Schaefer, age 58 of Florence South Carolina, died Friday morning, February 19, 2010. The daughter of James and the late Elizabeth (Cobb) Myers was born in Midland on May 17, 1951 where she was raised and educated. Jane enjoyed antiquing, doing crafts, going on road trips, fishing, woodworking and growing flowers. On December 2, 1968 in Sanford, Jane married Randy Schaefer. He died on September 4, 2007.

Surviving are her sons, Kelvin Schaefer of Panama City, Florida, Dale Schaefer of Sanford, Jason Schaefer of Florence, South Carolina; daughter, Cindy Schaefer of Irmo, South Carolina; 4 grandchildren, Kevin Schaefer, Taylor and Christopher King, Jason Scott Schaefer; father, James Myers of Babbit, Minnesota; brothers, John, Jeff, Jim and Bill Myers; sisters, Connie Raber, Milly Krotzer, Lauri Ann Chalifoux, Lois Donahue and Mary Ellen Nicholson; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Jane was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Myers.

Per the wishes of Jane cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in South Carolina at a later time.
