Jamilee Israel, age 77 of Auburn, formerly of St. Clair Shores, died Wednesday morning February 2, 2011 at the home of her son. The daughter of the late Salim and Najeba (Nasar) Sessine, was born in Kousba, Lebanon on March 10, 1933. On February 6, 1949 Jamilee married George Israel in Kousba, Lebanon. She then came to the United States and resided in St. Clair Shores until moving to Auburn last winter. Jamilee enjoyed gardening, crocheting & knitting, doing crossword puzzles, cooking and going to the casino. She was a baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers. Jamilee loved to collect Angels.


Surviving are her children, Dolores (John) Krzeminski of Westphalia, MI, Joanne (Craig) Deutschendorf of Northville, MI, George (Jean) Israel of Chesterfield, MI, John (Marguerite) Israel of Auburn; grandchildren, Kevin Krzeminski, Ryan Deutschendorf, Kate Israel, Samantha Israel, Nicholas Israel, Jonah Israel, Samuel Israel, John Paul Israel and Joseph Israel; brothers, Elie Sessine, Abraham Sessine, Milad Sessine; sister, Sadie Sessine; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Jamilee was preceded in death by her husband, George; grandchildren, John & Lisa Krzeminski; brother, Michael Sessine.


Funeral services will take place 7:30 p.m. Friday February 4, 2011 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland. Deacon John Liddle of St. Williams Catholic Church will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to Southern Care Hospice.
