James H. Sims

James H. Sims, age 57 of Midland died at Toni & Trish House in Auburn on Sunday, July 3, 2011.
The son of the late Kenneth and Helen (Kosenko) Sims was born on August 13, 1953 in Midland where he was raised and educated. James had a career as a tool and die maker and had worked for over 40 years for several area companies, including Merrill Tool, Modern Metal Craft, Ameritec Tool & Die and most recently with Spaulding Machine. Jim enjoyed camping, restoring antique cars and loved his dogs.

He is survived by his life partner, Ruthann Smith and her family Christopher L. (Becky) Smith, Ashley Smith, Dorothy Drake, David (Lila) Drake and his brother, William A. Dast of NC.

Funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 7, 2011 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Dansville officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Toni & Trish House.
