James Clifford Caldwell, age 73 of Sanford, died Friday June 10, 2016 at his residence. The son of the late Clifford and Edna (Wilson) Caldwell was born in Midland on September 19, 1942 graduating from Midland High School. Jim worked at Baker-Perkins in Saginaw and at Michigan Sugar in Bay City. He enjoyed outdoor activities especially hunting. Jim always had multiple projects going and was there to help anyone in need. He especially loved visiting with friends and his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jonathan J. Caldwell; grandchildren, Brandon Caldwell and Shelby Sharp; great grandchildren, Kaedan and Mya; sister, Wilma Schneider; step sister, Kay Baker; many nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Lucille Caldwell; special friend, Garnet Wahley. In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his son Greggory J. Caldwell.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jim's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 18, 2016 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Evangelist Pat Boulton presiding.
