Jack L. Sheneberger, age 86 of Midland, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at StoryPoint Assisted Living of Midland. The son of the late Earl and Gladys (Brewbaker) Sheneberger was born on January 8, 1931 in Macomb, IL. Jack was employed with the Dow Corning Corp. for 46 years, retiring in 1993.He was a graduate of Monmouth College, a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity, the Midland Kiwanis where he served as secretary and a Charter Member of the American Society for Quality Control. He was an active volunteer at MidMichigan Medical Center, served as an umpire for Little League and a faithful donor to the Ernie Wallace Blood Bank.


Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Betty D. Rossell, whom he married on June 27, 1953 in Monmouth, IL; son, Jeffrey W. (Jane) Sheneberger; daughter, Joyce L. (Dale) Engman; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul, and Ryan.


A celebration of Jacks life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Jeff Maxwell officiating. Friends may visit the family at church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorials in Jack's name may be offered to the Kiwanis Foundation.
