Innik J.C. Hancock, age 87 of Midland died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Stratford Village. The son of the late William and Ida (Herren) Hancock was born on April 4, 1929 in Tennessee. J.C. served with the Army during the Korean War and retired from Aetna Cement as an operator. He is predeceased by his wife Genny, whom he married in 1984.
J.C. is survived by his step children Rodney (Debbie) Neal of Bay City, Peggy (David) Vargo of Florida, Jenny (Larry) McLean of Bay City and many step grand and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Janet Smith and Maynell Thurston. J.C. was predeceased by brothers Cleo, Leo, C O, William and sisters Nelda Miller, Vernell Gutchak, and Dorothy Hancock. He will be greatly missed by Scott Klein and Kim Starnes.
A gathering time will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home from 3 to 5 pm with military honors conducted by the Midland Area Veterans and the U S Army Honors Guard at 5:00 pm. Personal messages of condolence may be left at www.wilson-miller.com
