Ina "Elaine" (Cochran) Yost

Ina "Elaine" Yost, long-term resident of Midland, stepped into the arms of her Savior at the Tendercare of Leelanau County in Suttons Bay, MI on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008
She was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Crooksville, OH to Alva and Erma (Ross) Cochran. She married Oscar Yost in Mt. Pleasant on June 27, 1936.

Elaine is survived by daughters Joyce (Bob) Mansfield, Barb David, and Linda (TJ) Wanek; grandchildren Bob (Jennifer) Mansfield, Cathy (John) Schiebel, Chris ((Joe Bosse) Funsch, Cheryl (Dave) Hengesbach, Kevin (Dana) Hickey, Kimberley (Bill) Bectel, Kyle (Anne) Hickey, Brent David, Matt (Michelle) Mann and Mackenzie (Ben) Forman. Also surviving are 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great, great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews; brother Ted (Mary Lou) Cochran and sister-in-law Joanne Cochran.
Elaine was preceded in death by Oscar, 19 years ago on the same day, and by brothers Jack and Alva and sister Nema Bauer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Yost will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 3, 2008 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Chapel Hill Mausoleum.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that those interested donate to Munson Hospice in Traverse City, MI or a charity of their choice.
