Ida Ritter

Ida Ritter, age 90 of Midland, died Thursday, August 04, 2011 at Tendercare of Midland.
The daughter of the late Harley and Margaret (Williams) Carrick was born June 16, 1921 in Centerville, Mississippi.
Ida served with the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1946 she married Paul Ritter, Jr. in Midland and after 61 years of marriage, Paul predeceased her June 4, 2007.
Ida enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by her son, Paul Ritter, III of Forest Hill, Louisiana.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ritter will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Reverend David G. Mulder of Homer United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Monday from 4-7 pm. and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Memorial condolences may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association.
