Hazel I. (Noack) Lamee

March 14, 1930 — June 17, 2022

Hazel I. Lamee, age 92 of Midland, passed away Friday evening June 17, 2022 at her residence. The daughter of the late Paul and Lena (Skinner) Noack was born in Midland on March 14, 1930. Hazel was a member of Midland Missionary Church, enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends. On December 24, 1947, Hazel married Cecil Bruce Lamee and after 73 years of marriage, Bruce passed away on September 22, 2021.


Surviving are her children, Jeannette (Dallan) Buschman of Arizona, Gary (Connie) Lamee, of Owosso, Sue Lamee of Midland, Dan (Pam) Lamee of Midland, Angela (John) McGuire of Alabama; daughter in law, Jeanne Lamee; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Dean (Mary Ellen) Noack; sister, Ruth Urbaniak; sister in law, Margaret Noack; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Hazel was preceded in death by a son, David Lamee; brother, Duane Noack.


Per the wishes of Hazel, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 9, 2022 at Midland Missionary Church. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the Midland Missionary Church or the Alzheimer's Association of Michigan. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
