Harry Carl Hale

July 5, 1984 — April 11, 2020

Harry Carl Hale, age 35 of Midland, died Saturday afternoon, April 11, 2020 near his home. He was born the son of Vernon Paul Hale Sr. and Sue Ann Hale (Tripp) on July 5, 1984 in Midland. Carl received his G.E.D. from the Education and Training Center of Midland in May of 2003. He loved children and spent a few years as a Camp Counselor with the Summer Program through the West Midland Family Center. Carl worked in the construction industry for the past 15 years.


Carl was an avid reader, often times reading entire series such as Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. He was very good at poker, playing videogames, and knife throwing. He loved history and researched anything he was passionate about. He especially loved Superheroes and music. Carl loved his children more than anything, spending as much time as he could with them.


He is survived by his children, Kinley Doyle and Xander Hale; mother, Sue Ann Hale; siblings, Rhonda (Brian) Lopez, Ron (Kimberly) Boileau, Racheal Hale, Anthony (Melissa) DeGraw, Vernon Hale Jr., Stephanie VanWormer, Cameron DeGraw, Trevor DeGraw, and Ashley DeMeyer; girlfriend, Rachel Schumacher; mother of his children, Crystal Doyle; great niece with whom he had a very special bond, Helayna Shook; along with many other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.


Carl was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Hale Sr.; and niece, Skylar Wheeler.


Memorial services for Carl will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Midland Missionary Church with Pastor David Kissinger officiating. Private burial will be in Lee Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be offered to his children c/o Vernon Hale Jr.


Carl will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times, and even though he took his life we know he is at rest and without pain now. &
