Harold F. Hammond

Harold F. Hammond, age 89 of Midland, passed away Thursday morning December 7, 2017 at Brittany Manor. The son of the late George and Ada (Ostrander) Hammond was born in Midland County on March 10, 1928. Harold worked as a laborer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with many things.

Surviving is his wife of 67 years the former Arlene M. Parker of whom he married on April 15, 1950 in Midland; sons, Ray (Sherry) Hammond, Steven (Kimberly) Hammond, Andrew (Joanna) Hammond; daughters, Phyllis Maltby, Doris Hammond, Carol (Dale) Wetherell, Dawn (Mike) Beardslee; 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Harold was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Fred, Stanley, Clarence, and Leo Hammond; sisters, Iva Hammond, Bessie Inman, Helen Carman and Grace Randall.
