Germaine "Gen" B. Klemkoski

Germaine B. Klemkoski, age 95 of Midland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 24, 2024. She was born in Bay City on December 20, 1928 to the late Michael and Helen (Martinski) Wrzesinski. Gen married Joseph Klemkoski in August 1953 in Angola, Indiana and they shared 53 years together before his death in December of 2001. Gen will be remembered as a very kind person who enjoyed crocheting, flowers, and watching Christmas movies with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathi (Kevin) Singer of Crestwood, KY, and Deb (Buz) Helwig of Grand Rapids, MI. She was a loving grandmother to Staci Holland, Brent Helwig, Matthew (Avery) Fales, Ryan (Melanie) Fales, and Michael Singer; great grandmother to Skylar Helwig, Jordan Holland, Raegan Helwig, Eden Fales, Finley Fales, Scarlett Fales, Raven Fales, Leo Fales. Also surviving is her sister, Romaine (Jim) Maturen; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Gen was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward (Mary Ann) Wrzesinski, Gerald (Ann) Wrzesinski, Donald (Sally) Wrzesinski, Ray (Betty) Wrzesinski, and Delphine (Wendell) Finn.

Funeral services for Gen will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be offered to Heartland Hospice.
