Gerald G. Jackson

Gerald G. Jackson, age 94 of Sanford, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Meridian Acres Assisted Living in Sanford. The son of the late Guy A. and Edith (Thompson) Jackson was born in Weidman, Michigan on January 29, 1929. Gerald had been employed with The Dow Chemical Company, retiring after 28 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and going to his cabin, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. On November 4, 1949, Gerald married the former Louise Sumner and after 72 years of marriage, she died on August 20, 2022.

Surviving is his son, Herbert (Linda) Jackson; daughters, Cathy Felsing, Jerrilyn (Mike) Moe; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Wendell (Mabel) Jackson. In addition to his parents and wife, Gerald was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Moe; son in law, Jim Felsing.
