George "Tom" Marko, Jr.

George "Tom" Marko, Jr. age 54 of Sanford died Friday, January 8, 2010 at his home.
The son of Janice (Taylor) Marko and the late George Marko, Sr. was born October 6, 1955 in Saginaw. Tom graduated from Bullock Creek High School in 1975. On May 9, 1981 he married Becky Plummer in Midland. Tom retired from the Operating Engineers #324. He was a loyal union member and began his career as a heavy equipment oiler then advanced to an apprentice coordinator and field representative at Local 324 training site.
Tom enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting skeet, fishing and camping but most of all spending time with his family. We all love him very much and will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; sons, Chad Marko and his girlfriend, Robyn Ruddy and Matthew Marko and his girlfriend Whitney Smith; granddaughters, Kyra and Jena; mother, Janice Marko of Midland; brothers, Randy Marko and Craig Marko both of Midland; mother and father in law, sister and brothers in law, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Tom at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Reverend James Shanks officiating.
Family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered directly to the family.
