Gary A. Moe

Gary A. Moe, age 72 of Sanford, died Friday evening February 6, 2015 at Tendercare of Mt. Pleaseant. The son of the late Clyde A. and Grace E. (Woodruff) Moe was born in Midland on February 20, 1942 where he was raised and educated. Gary was employed with Local 85 as a Master Plumber and Pipefitter until his retirement in 1998 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, stock car racing, was a NASCAR fan, playing guitar and collecting model trains.

Surviving is his wife of 32 years the former Sherry Lower of whom he married on December 21, 1982 in Midland; son, Scott (Dawn) Moe of Holland; daughter, Kendra (James) Mallon of Ann Arbor; step son, Corey (Christi) Lower of Midland; step daughter, Erin (Jason Swick) Badour of Midland; grandchildren, Jonathan, Valerie, Justin, Hayden, Gage, Jack and Avery; great grandchildren, Carla & Samuel; brothers, Larry A. (Connie) Moe, Curtis (Beth) Moe all of Sanford; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 10, 2015 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland with Rev. Wayne Shidler, Chaplain with Heartland Hospice officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
