Gary L. Feaster

October 6, 1938 — December 9, 2020

Gary L. Feaster of Midland, born in Midland to the late Lawrence and Nora (Reisner) Feaster on October 6, 1938, passed away on December 9, 2020 at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant. Gary graduated from Midland High School in 1958. He then went to work for Ed Gibson as a mechanic and ran the bowling Pro-Shop at Midland and Circle Bowling. He was a very good bowler in his own right with achieving a few 300 games.


In August of 1973, Gary married the former Kay Tisdale Etherton and after 35 years of marriage she died on June 13, 2009. Gary loved to be outdoors in the woods and told stories of all the creatures on his properties. He was a very successful deer hunter.


Gary is survived by his brother, William Feaster; sisters in law, Karen Feaster and Sally Crill; his wife's daughters, Linda Gilson, Lisa Brady; grandchildren Kelly and Kyle Brady; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Gary was preceded in death by brothers, Douglas and Larry Feaster; sister in law, Irene Feasters.


Per the wishes of Gary cremation has taken place and the family will have a private gathering. Memorials may be directed to MidMichigan Home Health Care (Hospice) or to the organization of one's choice. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
