Fred Bradford Iii

Frederick Douglas Thomas Bradford III, age 81 of Midland died at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. The son of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Hall) Bradford II was born on January 8, 1932 in Houston, TX. He served in the Army prior to his marriage on August 4, 1962 to the former Rita Roeder in Costa Mesa, CA. Fred worked in the furniture industry in sales for many years. He was a member of the Sanford American Legion Post #443 and enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and Lotto Bingo.

Fred is survived by his wife, Rita "Kitty" Bradford; sons, Raymond (Marie) Bradford of Sanford, Mark Bradford of Macomb; daughters Karlene (David Allard) Bradford of Midland, Sharlene (Jeff) Willford of Chillicothe, IL, and AmyLynn (C.A.) Nuckles Jr. of Elberon, VA.
Fred will also be missed by his children, Katherine, Douglas, David, William Bradford, Terri Jo Rucker and Kimberly Cameron. He is also survived by 82 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, one great great gtrandchild; sister, Becky Wilson; brothers, Billy Don, Joe, Ralph, and Mike Bradford.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Chaplain Roger Stauffer officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service. Military honors will be under the auspices of the Midland Area Veterans and the US Army Honors Guard. Memorials may be offered to the Veterans Hospital in Saginaw.
