Eunice M. Gullikson

Eunice M. Gullikson, age 90 of Midland, died Monday morning March 29, 2010 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Woodward) Warner was born in Page, North Dakota on September 5, 1919 where she was raised and educated. She graduated from North Dakota State University in 1941. On September 25, 1942 in Fargo, North Dakota Eunice married Glenn Gullikson. He died on May 1, 1960. Eunice taught at Jefferson Intermediate School until retiring in 1981. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association, and First United Methodist Church where she was involved in many church activities. Eunice helped deliver meals on wheels, enjoyed traveling, and belonged to many bridge clubs. She was a very kind and sweet person and a friend to all.

Surviving are her children, Karen (Gordon) North, Mary (Mark) Cykowski all of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Patricia (Dennis) Drake of Williamston, Michigan, Gary (Elizabeth) Gullikson of Canton, Michigan; grandchildren, Julie Longo, Mike Cykowski, Andrew Drake, Ben Drake, Lisa Gullikson, Amy Gullikson and her sister, Helen (Vern) Hook of Sun City Arizona. In addition to her husband and parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her sister, Mary McNutt.

Funeral services will take place at noon Thursday April 1, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Lisa McIlvenna will officiate. Interment will follow in Midland City Cemetery. Eunice's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be offered to Senior Service of Midland.
