Eric H. Johnson

Eric H. Johnson, age 62 of Midland, passed away unexpectedly Monday July 25, 2022 at his home.&

He was born in Decatur, Illinois on June 13, 1960 to the late Jack and Shirley Johnson. He married the love of his life Christine on April 14, 1984. They were blessed with two children, Shannon and Brandon.

Eric was passionate about his music and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a Psalmist who loved writing and performing. He spent many years on the worship team at church as well as performing around the Tri City area, never failing to shine the light of Jesus everywhere he went. Eric had a positive impact on everyone he met.

Eric loved working in his yard, making it a haven for Chris. He was a wonderful husband who did everything to make their life special.

He is survived by his wife Christine; his daughter Shannon (Christopher) Haggard; His son Brandon; His beloved granddaughter Britta Lee Haggard; brother Michael (Annalee) Johnson. In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Gentry.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday July 30th at Christian Celebration Center at 2 p.m. with Rev. Keith Grabill officiating. Visitation will start at 1 p.m.
