Eric M. Emery

Eric M. Emery, age 49 of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at MyMichigan Medical Center. Eric was born on May 21, 1975 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was a dedicated manager at Fast Eddie's Car Wash in Midland. He loved driving around in his beloved Cadillac, listening to music and spending time outdoors kayaking in the summer. Eric was known for his infectious smile, easygoing nature, and a knack for pulling pranks and making people laugh. He offered unwavering love and support to everyone he knew, especially to those he walked alongside on the journey of recovery.

Eric will be remembered by the love he had for his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Dylen Emery (Nataleigh Adkins); mother, Sheryle Grove (Jacobsen); sisters, Heather (Richard Lytle) Emery, Megan (Jacob) Nix, and Anna (Matt) Hayes; girlfriend, Crystal Acord; nieces and nephews, April, Dallas, D.J., Jace, Jaxon, Lilie, and Brynlie; along with many other family and friends. Eric was predeceased in death by his father, Howard A. Emery; his grandparents, Harold and Ruth Jacobsen, Beverly Brown, and Dwight Paulson.

A celebration for Eric's life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland, MI 48640. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, lunch will be provided in the Miller Reception Room at the funeral home. The family hopes that all who were touched by Eric's life will join them in remembering and celebrating him. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
