Ella J. (Miller) Edwards

Ella Joyce Miller Edwards, age 88 of Midland passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at MidMichigan Medical Center with her family by her side.& Ella is the daughter of Roy Alfred Miller and Ethel G. Breidinger. Ella was born in Porter Township, Midland County; on April 29,1933. She married Roy Edwards on November 23,1948. Roy and Ella shared 64 years together before his death in 2013. Together they shared the love of snowbird traveling to the warmer states in the winter.

Surviving is her sons David (Delores) of Hemlock, Gerald (Marion) of Prescott, Gordon Edwards of Midland, daughters Brenda Smith of Midland, and Diane LaLone of Weidman. Surviving are two brothers Jerry Miller and Lynn Miller, also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ella was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Smith along with many sisters and brothers.

Funeral services for Ella will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Wilson MILLER Funeral home located 4210 N. Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640. Committal services will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service.
