Elizabeth Whittington

Elizabeth Whittington, age 77 of Gladwin, died early Thursday morning March 12, 2015 at Horizon Senior Living Center in Gladwin. The daughter of the late Josef and Sophie Wamser was born in Miltonberg, Germany on February 21, 1938. She was an Avon Rep for many years, enjoyed growing flowers, doing crafts, a good housekeeper and also cleaned many houses in the area, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. On September 29, 1961 Elizabeth married Jerry A. Whittington and after 52 years of marriage he died on May 31, 2014.

Surviving is her son, Terry (Lori) Whittington of Midland; granddaughter, Eryn Whittington; step grandchildren, Kyle & Emily Scribner; sisters, Inga & Elfrida Wamser.

Per the wishes of Mrs. Whittington cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorials may be offered to Hospice Advantage 3217 M-76 W West Branch, Michigan 48661.
