Elizabeth A. "Liz" Shook, age 54 of Midland, died Thursday September 15, 2016 at her residence. The daughter of Irene (Jankowski) and the late Louie Wenglikowski was born on December 5, 1961 in Midland where she was raised and educated. Liz loved animals and was involved with SOS Animal Rescue. She also help run the family business Ace Auto Repair with her husband Joel.
Surviving is her husband of 22 years Joel E. Shook of whom she married on June 6, 1992 in the Floyd Church of God; mother, Irene Wallace of Midland; brothers, Steve (Sherie) Wenglikowski of Calumet, Michigan, Chris (Roxanne) Wenglikowski of Connecticut; sister, Yvonne Wenglikowski of Midland; mother and father in law, Jerry and Kay Shook; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her farther Liz was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Katzinger.
A celebration of Liz life will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 21, 2016 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to SOS Animal Rescue.
